Teaching students to study the Bible for themselves and to live out Jesus’ command to love God and love others is one of Michael’s greatest passions in life. Doing so in the context of cross-cultural ministry has been the norm during his time with Calvary Chapel Bible College.
Katie is a lover of Jesus, His gospel, and His Word. She is a wife, a homeschooling mom, a Bible teacher, and a Board Chairman for a ministry near to her heart. Her desire is to see God in the way He has revealed Himself in scripture and to be awestruck by His beauty, goodness, and power – and then help others to do the same!
With 20+ years of ministry experience, Katie has served in leadership and visionary roles, and as a mentor, encourager, speaker, and disciple maker.
She believes the opportunity for the gospel in Cambodia is massive and she is most excited to share the love of Jesus and the Word of God with the people that God puts in her path.
The Ancheta kids have lived coast-to-coast over the past 6 years, moving from Hawaii to Washington, California, Florida, Tennessee, and back to California. During this time they have witnessed how God works through diverse cultures, enjoyed His creative design in various environments, and learned to join community wherever God has taken them.
They are looking forward to learning the Khmer language, making new friends, and experiencing the cultural diversity present in Cambodia.
