God has blessed our time in Cambodia with amazing connections to the students, staff, and ministry partners here at A Heart for Wisdom School. Each day we are spending intentional time with the kids. This includes many things such as playing sports with the kids such as Savannah playing jump rope or Eli and Brady playing volleyball with the boys.

We are also able to serve the staff at the school by helping assist them in their classes and teach students. These classes include Bible classes and English classes. These classes are encouraging because it allows us opportunity to speak into the kids lives and share the love of God and the hope of Jesus with them.

Other members of our team spend time serving in other important and needed roles at the school. One of these roles is working at the snack shop, helping kids to learn how to use money wisely and buy items such as water, snacks, school supplies, and toys. Ellie is pictured below helping out some of the cute little first graders!

Another role that can be filled on campus is doing physical projects and serving in a manual capacity. Nehemiah spent the day cleaning the grounds through working a sweeper which looks like a lawn mower! He was able to interact with students as they came outside for recess and he was taking care of the courtyard where they were playing. Eden also served on the grounds keeping team today where she raked leaves and helped with other projects! While they may not be directly interacting with kids, their service allows students to enjoy a clean environment at their school.

Overall, it was another amazing day that our team was able to serve the school and show the love of Jesus to the kids. Please keep praying for our time here and that the Lord would use us to continue to speak into the kids’ lives and share the Gospel with them.
