The team’s third week in Cambodia, and we’ve been in a position lucky enough to see each other’s hearts grow for the kids and staff here, along with the Cambodian people as a whole. We’ve also had the blessing of seeing their hearts grow for us. I’ve truly witnessed connection through Christ, regardless of the language barrier and the cultural differences.

Concerning our outreach team for week three, I, along with my teammates have had the immense blessing of seeing the fruit of the previous two teams labor. Being a part of this weeks outreaches, I’ve been able to see kids from age 5, to 8, to 12, to adults from young parents to grandparents, actively engage in hearing and accepting what we have to share about the gospel message. Cambodia, a place that is mostly Buddhist, is seeing more and more people come to Christ. People saying, “I want to follow Jesus.” This, by far, has been one of the best things to witness while I’ve been here.

I recall this past Monday when a group of around 20 kids along with most of their grandmothers and aunts all raised their hands when asked if they wanted to accept Jesus into their hearts. On top of that, today, my teammates had the blessing of ministering to 50+ kids. By then, the other outreach teams had visited this area (one of the teams visited twice), and these teams had very obviously planted seeds among them. I had the honor to teach the gospel message to this group of kids, of which I ended the teaching with sharing that Jesus desperately wanted a relationship with them. Over 40 kids proclaimed they wanted to accept Him into their hearts.

I have seen the hand of God move powerfully in Cambodia. I have seen how A Heart For Wisdom school has impacted these kids lives and their parents lives for the better. God is using our team and the staff of A Heart For Wisdom school to share Christs love and give these kids a future and a hope. God has opened their hearts to receive the good news. To see kids eyes sparkle and the gears in their head turn when asked about Jesus is something I get to see daily here. I see the love of Christ in them when they give me numerous hugs and high fives and love nothing more than to try to converse with me. God is moving in these kids and through our team. Continue to pray for Cambodia. The harvest is full. I’ve seen these words from Jesus and it’s truth with my own eyes. Laborers are few. There are still many people who need to hear about the loving God Jesus is.
