Outreach 1
We got to meet Yan, a 65 year old woman who has been walking with the Lord for 26 years. Everyone she knew back when she found God isn’t following Him now. We also met her daughter, Wanne, who helps at the two local churches in the village. Here are some of their prayer requests:
- That the lord would help the people in the village and that their hearts would turn to Christ.
- That a real pastor would be raised up in the village.
- That her family would know the Lord and that the children grow up to love the Lord, to serve him and to share the gospel.
- Pray for her husband, who is not a Christian, for him to walk with the Lord.
Outreach 2
After a 3.7 mile bike ride in the scorching heat, we made it to a little church with about 15-20 kids waiting for us. We sang songs, then taught them about creation, the fall, and the promise of Christ returning. After Josiah taught them four corners, and we played for the rest of the time. Pray that the seeds planted in these children would continue to grow, and that they would share what they’ve learned with others.
